My son has just informed me that he has the opportunity to leave the area and work permanently (for the same company) in a town two and a half hours away.
I wouldn't want to be so far away from my son, but I understand he has to do what's right for him. Now he lives in the same town as I work in, so I see him fairly often.
Just going to have to see what happens, I guess.
oh dear, I guess that happens... I'm sure it will all work out ok. Is it somewhere interesting to go and visit?
