Here are a couple pictures of a flannel quilt I made for my sister Helena's 27th birthday. I made it using 6" strips of flannel on the back and front. The strips and batting are all sewn together at once, so it gets quilted as you go. I love the vibrant and bright colors. The binding is also flannel scraps of the green materials. I topstitched the binding with a decorative stitch on the front.
