A compromise on my goal

Okay, as you may or may not know, I set a goal for myself that I would quilt feather motifs on every one of the quilts for the nursing homes.  13 quilts filled with feathers, good or bad.  Well, I found out today that the date I need to have them done by is a week earlier than I previously thought!  Argh.  So now I'm scrambling.  I've decided that I'm going to continue along making them with feathers, but after Thanksgiving weekend I'll start doing a simple quilting design just to get them done.
