Baking bread

My darling daughter Johanna baked French bread yesterday!  Completely from scratch!  I was very impressed with her ambition and with the end product, even though I didn't get to taste it.  It looked pretty good to me.  What do you think?

I should bake some bread again one of these days.  Can't beat a fresh loaf of homemade bread, that's for sure.
