These cute little guys are getting turned into owls! Johanna needs a baby quilt (by Saturday!) for a shower. She informed me of this on Tuesday, so I found a very cute pattern on Craftsy and bought it. I have added all the beaks and eyes and have all the other parts ready to be sewn down. I named all the owls as I was making them. Here are Steve, Henrietta, and Maggie:
I just made the eyes out of scrap fabric and sewed them down, same with the beaks. The pattern had buttons for eyes, but I can't do that for a baby quilt. It was a lot of fun picking out fabrics.
