Block bonanza

The top photo is one of the panels that I found late last night to use for the lap quilts.  The bottom photo is the layout of 16 Double Slice blocks to make another top.  I picked out the fabrics and cut and sewed the blocks tonight.  I still need to sew the blocks together, but this was enough for one night.  If I feel like doing something in the morning before work, I might sew the rows together.  If not, it will be ready tomorrow night to quickly sew together.

This Double Slice block was mentioned on Stashbusters.  I found a video on YouTube from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.  It was a real easy block and I'll probably make more than one top from it.
