Quilt Repair Needed

My hand quilted trip around the world quilt, finished in 2006, right before an ice storm that knocked out power for five days:

I don't hand quilt much at all anymore.  This is my favorite quilt to use when sitting on the couch on a cool evening.  I quilted different designs in different colored squares.  Hearts in the red and pink squares, stars in the black squares, etc.

Hmpf.

Well, it isn't called patchwork for nothing, right?  haha.  I just don't get too excited about things like this.  It wouldn't do any good if I did!
