Not much to report on the home front! We bought a new vacuum cleaner. Doesn't that sound exciting? Haha. I guess it seems funny to put laminate flooring down then buy a new vacuum, but this one is supposed to be great on hardwood floors, so we shall see.
It's Homecoming weekend in our town. It's also the 150 Sesquicentenial celebration. And it has rained and rained and rained all week. The fairgrounds are soaked, the parks are soaked, the one parade for the little kids was rained out... It stopped raining about an hour ago and I am really hoping that it stays stopped for a while so Ev and I can go to the grounds and get a sandwich from one of the vendors. I haven't cooked much on our vacation and I figure, why start now? haha.
