At work

I am not feeling well at all, but I figured I might as well be miserable and get paid for it, so I went to work. Not sure if I'll make it through the entire day or not. I did start to quilt a pantograph Monday afternoon and finished one pass, but that was about all I could manage. The basement is too cold to be down there when I'm sick for any length of time, so I just gave up. It will wait. I am very pleased with how it looks, I will say that much.

Colds are so miserable, and being cold is miserable too. One of the things I love about New Mexico is that we often have a 30 to 50 degree difference between our low and high for the day---however, lately we've not been getting out of the low 30's, so each day I need to decide if I want to don long-johns before venturing out. I did take a shop-type electric heater to my school office, and that made all the difference in the world. At home I just pile on the sweaters and a down vest.
Stay warm. Start to feel well soon!

Oh you poor thing, that's not fun. I hope you feel much better soon. We're having a heat wave here! In the 90s today and over 100 at the weekend.
