Progress

I worked on RRCB a bit today.  I have half of the center done.  The rows are put together on the diagonal, as the quilt is set on point.  Here's a pic of what I have done so far:

I put it on my bed to see if it will fit (ignore the three other quilts under it!  I tried to fold them over so the backside wouldn't distract so much from the top.).  I think once the borders are on it, it might be a good fit for my bed.  I'm hoping it doesn't shrink up too much in the quilting process.

This quilt has been a U.F.O. for so long, that I am just not getting in any hurry to get it done.  I'm enjoying the process.  The crush of the holidays are over and I'm making this quilt for my own enjoyment.

Gosh, that's lovely. I'm a very beginning quilter. I've made one v-e-r-y simple one so far and am now doing a little cot quilt from a kit, which is only slightly more complicated. (At least I'm hoping so... .)I don't think I'll ever aspire to something like you're doing!

(Just popped over from Lynley, by the way.)

This looks very nice, sounds like you are really enjoying working on this one. :) We made our reservations for Paducah today.
