I quilted up the flannel baby quilt I'm donating to the auction next weekend. This was the first time I had quilted anything flannel on Gemma. The results were okay, although there was some stretching of the fabric that I had to really watch out for. I switched back to the Essentials thread and had no looping problems. I still won't blame the other thread until I have used it on a quilt without that tight weave backing material. Cascading Colors will have the same weight of fabrics on back and front and I'm debating giving it a shot or just playing it safe.
