The green nine patch center for the first nursing home quilt is done. I finished sewing squares and rows together tonight. It needs a border to make it a bit larger, I think. I found something in my stash that will work, but it was pretty warm upstairs so I didn't do any cutting. I was pretty wiped out from working, then going to the gym, cooking supper, and sewing the top together.
The material I want to use for the border will also work for the alternating squares on the other nine patch. Maybe the material I used for alternating squares on the first quilt will become the border on the second. Kind of keep them the same but different.
